High-Technology Businesses in the Wisconsin I-94 Corridor Technology Zone (Chippewa, Dunn, Eau Claire, Pierce, Polk and St. Croix Counties) may be eligible for state tax credits, through the Department of Commerce and the Department of Revenue, based on their ability to create jobs and investments that support the development of high-tech industries in the region.

- $5 million in income tax credits has been allocated to the Wisconsin I-94 Corridor Zone.
- Zones are in effect for 10 years.
- Tax credits are made available to high-technology businesses expanding, location or commencing operations in the Technology Zone.

- Medical Technology & Devices
- Materials Technologies
- Information Technologies
- Telecommunications & Utilities
- Machinery, Equipment & Electrical
- Automation & Precision Fabrication
- Biotechnology
