Be a part of history! August 31 - September 1, the Minneapolis Saint Paul area will host delegates, media, and guests from all over the country and world for the Republican National Convention. Hosting a nominating convention is second only to the Olympics for promoting an area. 10,000 volunteers (regardless of political affiliation) are needed to provide a warm welcome and communicate that the Twin Cities Metro area is a great place to visit, play, live, work and invest. The non-partisan, non-for-profit Minneapolis Saint Paul 2008 Host Committee is currently recruiting volunteers at www.msp2008.com/volunteer to be a part of this once in a lifetime event. Applicants must be 18 years or older. Application deadline is June 30. |
