February 25	SCEDC Business of the Year Banquet (open to the public) 5:30 Social , 6:30 Dinner and 7:15 Speaker and Awards at the University Center Ballroom on the University of Wisconsin River Falls Campus. The banquet is open to the public but reservations and meal selections are required in advance. The cost is $30 per person. The 2009 Business of the Year award winners are: NCCM Company (River Falls) as Emerging Business of the Year; Baldwin Telecom, Inc. (Baldwin) as Small Business of the Year; and Scientific Molding Corporation Ltd. (Somerset) as 2009 Business of the Year. Additionally Ken Heiser, a Hudson banker, has been named the inaugural recipient of St. Croix EDC’s Directors Award. Stand up comedian C.
